Prof. Jesus TANCO LERGA

has a Ph.D. in information technologies and is a professor of the University of Navarre. Between 1979 and 1981 he hold the office of the vice director of the Education Departament and from 1981 to 1983 he was the vice director of the Culture and Tourism Department of the Government of Navarre. Between 1983 and 2005 he was an employee of the General Archive of Navarre. Since 2005 he has collaborated with the University of Navarre and has been responsible for public relations. He is a professor of the School of Communication of the University. Moreover, he is an author of numerous books and publications devoted to the history and culture of Navarre as well as to the phenomenon of Camino de Santiago (St. James’s Way). He is one of the coauthors of the Encyclopedia of Navarre. He hold the function of the president of the Association of Journalists of Navarre. He established the Association of Friends of Camino de Santiago in Navarre and has since sat on its Board. What is more, he was a member of the managing board responsible for organizing the Central Celebrations of the Jubilee Year of St. James in 1999. He is also an Elder Brother of the Brotherhood of Saint James, the Apostole, a member of the editorial committee of the “Jakubus” magazine. For the past twenty years he has been the editor-in-chief of “Estafeta Jacobea”. In 1996 he presided over the General Congress of St. James in Pamplona. He has participated in numerous conferences devoted to the St. James’s Way, for instance: in Belgium, Italy and many Spanish cities.

Prof. Javier SANTOMÁ

collaborates with many universities worldwide, nevertheless, the IESE Business School in Barcelona has always been his parent university and it is there that he hold the function of a professor at the Department of Finance. The IESE is one of the most highly acclaimed universities for economics in the world (for more information go to: www.iese.edu). Prof. Javier Santomá also conducts MBA programs at the IESE. In the course of his career he has cooperated with the following universities: University of Pennsylvania (USA), The Wharton School (USA), Strathmore Business School w Nairobi (Kenya), Nile University in Cairo (Egypt), Lagos Business School Pan-African University (Nigeria), Instituto de Alta Dirección de la Empresa (INALDE) Universidad de la Sabana in Bogotá (Columbia). Since 2002 he has regularly visited Warsaw to conduct advanced programs: International Faculty Program (IFP) and Advanced Management Program. He wrote numerous books, articles and publications devoted to economy and business.

Prof. Maria Eugenia LOPEZ JACOISTE

is a Vice Dean of the Law Departament of the University of Navarre. She specializes in public international law. She graduated law studies in Zurich. Her Ph.D. thesis was devoted to the issue of legality and control mechanisms regarding decisions taken by the United Nations Security Council. She holds the office of the Director of the European Documentation Centre at the University of Navarre. She collaborates with numerous research centres in Europe, e.g.: Max Planck Institut für ausländisches öffentliches Recht und Völkerrecht, Heidelberg. She published research works pertaining to the European Union law as well as comparative studies of Spanish, German and Swiss law systems. Moreover, she organized numerous symposiums and congresses. She regularly delivers lectures at many Spanish universities, e.g. in Valencia and Donostia-San Sebastián.

Prof. Inmaculada JIMÉNEZ CABALLERO

is a professor at the Architectural Design Department, which is part of the School of Architecture of the University of Navarre. His field of research embraces architectural forms. He delivers lectures at many prestigious universities around the world, in America, Asia and Europe. Moreover, he participates as an expert in international UN summits devoted to new city urban projects (e.g. City Summit in Istanbul – Project ”Habitat”). He also sits on a jury in many intentional architectural competitions and holds the function of a moderator during renown “Expressarte” disputes. What is more, he conducts master courses in drawing and sculpture. Finally, he curated numerous exhibitions devoted to architecture (e.g. architectural treasures of Camino de Santiago).

Prof. Juan LUIS LORDA

is a professor of dogmatic theology and philosophy (anthropolgy and ethics) at the University of Navarre as well as an industrial engineer, an acclaimed Spanish publicist and essayist. He is also a member of the “Science, Reason, and Faith” Group of Research (CRYF) and the Council for Catechesis at the Spanish Episcopal Conference. His texts are regularly published in the most notable Spanish newspapers and magazines devoted to culture. He frequented many countries in the world with his lectures. He is an author of numerous works pertaining to personalism and Christian philosophy. His books were translated into many foreign languages, among others into Polish: “The Art. Of Living” (Fronda 1999) and ”To Be a Christian” (Apostolicum, 2005).
